Foggy November

Hi Everyone, I decided to keep in touch brfore the end of the month. Life continues to be hecic not by choice definitely. things keep happening . I keep trying to cut down and rest more. One thing I'm determined to do is not to be overwhelmed by christmas, and be caught up with consumerism. I don't want you all to covet but I just need to mention that I wrapped all my christmas presents yesterday evening all 21 of them. Do take it easy on your preparations for christmas however much you like to celebrate. Be reminded that the most important thing is that Jesus was born for us to fulfill the prophecy. He was born, died and resurrected to Glorify His Father in heaven and FOR US ALL. Enough about christmas.
The Lydia prayer and intercession is valuable at this time and God is moving in a powerful way. The Healing rooms have moved venue and we are settling down. I'm so ecited that Pastor Mike is one of the advisors. The meeting held in my house has been moved to monday and now we only meet once a month and we all bring something to share and minister to one another and we are accountable to one another. We have started our christmas rehearsals we have a treat for you all and your friends. Bible has been good when i have been able to attend. I started to start quilling again with my friend. I had a quilling kit of a victorian lady from a friend for my birthday I started doing that, I got a frame for it already because it is not easy to get box frames that fit. For my birthday I got 19 cards, 4 ecards and 2 phonecalls and few presents. My sister sent me a card from Mauritius, all the family wrote and signed and the cat imprint was on it as well as part of the family.I was taken out to eat 6 times. A lunch at the organic farm on the A414 with a friend, then a cream tea at Mulberry with my neighbour and a friend. Then 2 lunches at the princes restaurant 2 different times with some other friends and 2 evening meals. The measure you give is the measure you receive Amen. I took Ruth nd Naomie to freeport shopping considering they like shopping and I don't I did survive it. I wne to a friend's bithday tea party wednesday 21st. I went to Ruth's birthday party a girl's night at Carol's 5 star meal and a laugh. I got to bed at 3 am and when to both services singing the next morning, a plus time clock change. The Sym meeting was very challenging and our schools definitely need prayer.
November: We had a Healing rooms teaching day, amazing testimonies of healings that showed us the authority we all have in Jesus. I took some friends to the christian aid fair and had some lunch there. I invited my neighbour to come to the Shoebox evening but she is not able to come but she is doing 4 boxes anyway and she puts £5.00 in every box, a friend told her about it and He helps in the ware house so she said to me when her husband retires He is going to help at the warehouse . What a witness!!. She is comning to the carol service I have a suprise for you at the carole service. Watch this Space!!. I have varnished inside my back door and my neighbour put a new weather board for me as it was rotten so I painted the outside. Also painted the window box and put some bulbs in 2 more pots. My neighbour cleaned my waterbut and sorted the tap as it was leaking slightly and stiff on saturday then it rained on sunday so i have some water to water my new lawn and pots. i was doing the prayer line while Val was away so I got all on computer nad telephone. I have written a poem and sent for publishing. Also I sent 2 to Premier radio and hope they would be read on 2 of my special programs.
Ephesians 3:16-19 'I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strebgthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being sothat Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you,being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Crist, and to know this love that supasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fulness of God. What a promise nothing can separate us from the love of God whatever we go through in life He is there suffering with us although we might not feel it at the time but we need to accept it as a fact and receive it in our inner being. In our weaknesses He makes us strong.Amen

European English

European English:
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as 'Euro-English' .

In the first year, 's' will replace the soft 'c'. Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard 'c' will be dropped in favour of 'k'. This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter. There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome 'ph' will be replaced with 'f'. This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where! more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent 'e' in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as
replasing 'th' with 'z' and 'w' with 'v'.

Autumn Colours

I don't know where september has gone. I'll try to catch up writing once a month. Here we go!!!
My freezer stopped working so I had one delivered today silver in colour. I had a busy september clearing Betty's flat. Anyway it is now clean and empty and for sale. Her sister needs support now. I went to Mulberry house for a quiet day with a friend, it was brilliant. The grounds are so lovely to be quiet and reflect on God. THe tuesday group meeting in my house has been uplifting and supporting and sharpening each other and be accountable to each other. The ladies chinese meal was excellent. I got to know Amy and had a laugh on our table. The lydia prayer & intercession has been stimnlating, we had a county lydia day where everyone was smiling although they must all go through trials and pain that life throws at us. Choir practice is keeping me busy at present I had to put swimming on hold for this term. Paul's 80th birthday was fun. It was hard work having new carpets in my lounge/diner, bedroom and prayer room. Now after 15 years I have sorted carpetsand decorating in the whole house. I have been involved in prayer for persecuted christians from different churches. This month we met in my house It made me think about diversity in prayer at least the Lord knows and hear us. I had my garden landscaped from 18th september with the weather it was prolonged and then He couldn't get turf anyway it is now completed. I have a semicircle of turf front and back, I call it my football pitch and small pebbles all round 4 tons of it and shrubs scattered about intermingled with my flower pots with a serpentine stepping stones path in the shape of feet made with natural sandstone, supposedly low maintenance. I have taken a challenge of varnishing my front door, shed door and all the window sills and staircase. I also painted the shed window, the drain pipe,the back door, the fence,the gate and the utility room. Praise the Lord no disaster with my enterprise. yesterday My neighbour pruned my rose bushes while I picked all the leaves off the pebbles and levelling it all with a thick stiff brush. Praise the Lord no more weeds. I have been watering my lawn and nurturing it. I have not been meeting with my friend for prayer on a tuesday because of bible cafe. I have been taking my neighbour out once a month because of retirement and problems with her daughter and sister she is now depressed. I hope they come to the carol service. Took 4 people to Witham to the christian Healing trust teaching day which was so good talki9ng about getting rid of roots in our lives and prayer afterwards. I had a new mattresss delivered which I purchased on bank holiday monday with an amazing discount. No more expenses for a long time now.
I had such a lovely birthday this year, with the postal stike I'm still having cards and parcels. To date I have 17 cards, 3 ecards and 2 phonecalls. I went to 3 lunches, 2 evening meals and one cream tea at Mulberry with friends and lots of pressies. the measure you give is the measure you receive. I'm still waiting for a card form mauritius which is still in the post. I hope it is not lost. I had friends come for the day on saturday 13th. It was sunny we had lunch out and dinner here. We have a village market with organic vegetables and crafts and jewellery. I got a pair of turquoise earings. My neighbour came with me on friday 19th october.
Lord help us to learn that we can ascend the heights of prayer not by the reason of our words alone, but by the attitude which underlies them. The attitude determines the altitude. Lord cleanse us in the secret places and in the hidden depths. Amen

Cold August

Hi Everyone, August has been different for me. A rest from Healing rooms, Lydia intercession, tuesday group, worship dance, swimming, or praying with a friend as we've both been away. So I have managed to read some books. I keep buying books and intend to read them. I have been having a rest and spending time with the Lord, praying and fasting. Also I have painted my gate and fence and my utility room and decluttering a bit more. Also tending my garden which has been very colourful. Last year my water butt was empty at this time but now it is full still. I defrosted my freezer then last week found that the seal had gone. These things take time to sort out and get done.So I'm having a freezer delivered on friday It is steel colour which is easier to keep clean. This will keep me in because they could come anytime. Also saturday I decided to buy a new mattress because my mattress is sagging and it is bad for the back. I got £130 discount due to bank holiday discount.
I went to Colin Urquhart faith camp for 2 nights which is 3 days teaching which was very enriching. I took a friend we stayed in a farmhouse ,5 minutes from the showground and such a lovely view no houses in sight. Bought more books. I bought a book on CD which is a very good idea because I listen to it in the car. My niece got married in Mauritius, my sister sent me photos via email. Today I got an email from my niece she lives in France. I was so involved with Betty visited her in hospital for 3 weeks taking her sister and cousin along sometimes. Also involved in all the preperations. It all went very well. My neighbour came then we talked about it over the fence, she brought up life after death which she doesn't believe so I got her a little book about it and pray the Lord would speak to her about it. Now I have been helping Betty's sister go through her things which has been hard. I took loads to the charity shop and church for the table top sale for missions and other friends.Then the solicitors will clear the flat before selling it. I have been taking her sister and cousin out. On sunday I took them out for lunch and we went to Southend for a ride and an icecream. I don't eat icecream healthy eating. I also went to visit a friend in Hampshire for a week end. I went to a lovely birthday party, a friend I met at the opera I was in. They had a string quartet which was exquisite. I took a friend to Barnes church in Great Tottam for a coffee, lovely ride and then we went to Perrywooods for lunch and had a look round.
I took my friend Donna for lunch in Mulberry house, delicious food equalling the price too but it was a sunny day, we had a lovely walk in the ground and sat in the summer house for a while. I did go to a prayer meeting for persecuted churches with churches together, powerful time. I took my neighbour out for lunch to a garden centre. friendship evangelism. I went to a celebration for churches together it was very reflective and lots of life changing testimonies. Yesterday I had a quote for new carpets that is badly needed. Yesterday I took my friend Donna to Mill race garden centre for lunch and look at silk flowers and unusual rather expensive gifts and lots of fish in the aquariums, all shapes, sizes and colours even deep blue ones, red shrimps with white dots. Then we watch the second episode of Lorna Doone on DVD, I just can't watch the battle bits. We watch the first episode another time when she was here. I have been to Lorna Doone valley when I was on holiday in Devon.

Still rainy July

Hi everyone, Life is so hectic, trying to keep up with my monthly blog. I don't know how i managed when I was working full time, must be getting older. i was invited to Grove rd church for sunday afternoon tea and it was lovely. I met a chinese friend there who told me that my other chinese friend was having a farewell the next sunday so i was able to go to that as well. After the chinese service translated into english my frind gave her testimony as she just got married and was going with her husband as missionaries to work in croatia. The chinese food was delicious. i had fresh crabs which are delicious. I had french girls staying with me for 12 days i had to take them. They sat in another room with their music and books for the service and enjoyed the chinese food so much so that the next sunday i took them to the imperial for lunch which they enjoyed. I also took them for a sunday roast one sunday and had fish and chips onother day also pizz take away apart from cooking then meals. One of them wrote in a thankyou card that she enjoyed the food. their english wasn't very good so i had to speak english and translate into french. One saturday evening I showed them Beatrix potter's film on DVD and translated the whole film. it was worht it because they enjoyed it. Evenings they had homework so they didn't want to go out so i had a rest and read books. I did take them to hanning fields reservoir and maldon promenade and freeport for shopping. The tuesday group we are having a break, healing rooms too So I want to do some painting of my gate and fence and varnish my front door weather permitting. and clear out some correspondence that's the plan anyway have to see how much gets done. I took the girls to Mulburry funday I missed church 2 sundays because it would be boring for them. I had my gas boiler serviced. The stdents went to Cambridge instead of London because of the bomb scare and visited a museum when it was a sunny day. They didn't enjoy it much. i have enjoyed singing in the choir. i missed swimming to go to practices. i went to Writtle church for a farewell praise party. I spoke to new girl in welcome point but she is only here for a few months on a course. then another couple who were visiting. Today healing rooms was brilliant with good news that a lady was healed form a hip operation that kept coming out of the socket and 1 lady gave her life to Jesus and 2 ladies who came from Newham were baptised in the spirit and spoke in tongues. We are moving premises in September. My friend Betty hasbeen in Broomfield that kept me busy and now she has passed away what a shock, still life goes on. So I havenot done much sightseeing this month being rather preoccupied with french students that i enjoyed having and visiting Betty. The girls were 13 so I couldn't leave them on their own. today i had an impromptu visit from a friend from Gloustershire, Swindon actually he wasn't flooded. He stayed a short time as he was visiting somebody else.
i was thinking about nothing can separate us form the love of god. What I noticed was it said the present and the future not the past so i gave it some thought and came up with the only thing of the past that I can think on are testimonies of God's goodness tome to bless others. Amen

rainny June

I have just made it to blog in june. Life is so hectic as usual. It takes me a long time to write my story of the month I need time to write it as so much is happening. I need to cease the right moment.
I'm still looking after my friend who had a cataract done. I took her to the optician then we had to take the result to the consultant. The cataract was successful but she has fluid behind the eye so we had to continue with some other drops and then 2 weeks ago i had to take her for an angiogram. we were there a long time. She had dye put in the eye then few pictures taken, she came out all yellow. then it faded the next day. She has an appointment with the consultane 3 weeks time to get the result.I mamaged to get to 2 of Pat's teaching then I showed the DVD to a few friends. i took my neighbours for an evening meal at the princes restaurant it was very posh and deliciuous and scrumptious. i had a sweet despite my healthy eating. We all enjoyed it. It was a Gary Rhodes evening so we had a meal Gary Rhodes style. i have been going to the ladies evening meetings and trying to put it all into practice and share with other people about what I learnt. I went to a healing rooms teaching day. We had a speaker from Norwich talking about prophecy, good teaching and workshop. I have a friend who was 90 years old. I had tea with her and her niece and a friend one sunday she had a birthday cake. then her niece and I took her to prince's restaurant for a lunch, she had another small birthday cake from me, all friut cakes. Then she had an open house the next saturday. the weather was beatiful and I took her into her garden after many years and we all sat there. I had to collect her cake ahuge friut cake, costing £60.00 with beautiful handmade flowers on it. The lydia intercession has been very challenging with issues in the govenrment and other issues but we have been encouraged by the Lord's faithfulness. The Healing and Souling meeting was very good but sadly Neil Cruchshanks is moving to new pastures because of job promotion so I don't know who would replace him to lead worship. Also Tudor Roberts who helps in healing rooms is moving church as well. I have a new printer to print my photos to a better quality. I enjoyed the welcome lunch I was the only vegetarian. Mine was delicious. I attended 2 study days for luncheon club, one about voluntary agencies and one on cultural awareness. the speakers were excellent. Afriend and I went to a concert by Chelmsford Male voice choir and YMCA and young people took part and the mayor and His wife were there too. The tuesday group has been brilliantalthough we wetre not able to meet for a wek because of the study day but we are back to normal now and expect the Lord to move in a tremendous way in our midst. I enjoyed singing in the choir I like singing it reminded me of when I use to sing in an opera group. the worship dance is going well. meeting with a friend for prayer to encourage her has been really rewarding too. The Lord was good yesterday at the ladies barbeque as it kept dry. today I took some friends to Perrywoods for a lunch and we went to Barn church for an open garden. What a beautiful garden. they had a bible garden that is plants from the bible like pomegranate, olive and different types of sage. Also a huge wooden cross made out of an old telegraph pole really impressive. I need to dash to Elim Summer evening now, till next time.
A THOUGHT: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Attitudes are everything. One thing is sure God stands by us in our pain waiting to help us transmute painful experiences into the gold of victorios living.

Mystery May

Hi Everyone. The Lord is at work in our lives so we can shine through for him for the Glory of the Church. Amen
Life has been like a whirlwind for me. I cannot get through without sitting at His feet. The Blossoms have already gone before I can once again tell you what I've been up to. I shall start at the beginning. Saturday 21st I went to a prayer meeting for persecuted churches. We prayed for a Lady imprisoned in the Congo. She was freed and back in Britain 2 weeks ago only to hear that she is going back there to help free other christians unlawfully imprisoned. What a brave Lady, she certainly needs breakthrough prayers. The co op Quadrant in town had roast dinners for £3.00 for 3 weeks which I took advantage of with 3 friends and then we were given 2 free tickets for 2 which I used up too. Praise the Lord for His provision. I took a friend to the bluebell woods on the way to Mrgaretting for a walk and had some lunch out. God has been gracious in our Lydia intercession group as we have seen a shift in our prayers being answered. All the Glory goes to Him. Amen. The Lord has been moving in our tuesday morning group . The Lord binding us together as we build a trust in one another and being in alignment with the Lord in what he wants to do. We felt we needed a break for a few weeks and start afresh in June meeting fortnightly. the Lord is in control. Healing rooms WOW A buddist gave his life to Jesus and was healed. We have witnessed miraculous heelings. OUR GOD IS ABLE AMEN. Sorry too many Amens!! I took a friend for a cataract operation and the Lord has undertaken for her while she has been with me with no complications. I took her home this morning. I need to take her to the optician and back to the hospital for a check up next week.
I was blessed at the ladies day and I have been showing the DVD to a few people since. Swimming is enjoyable I'm improving and persevering to keep fit along with my daily workouts with Rosemary Connelley.
I'm now in May: I went to the meadows party for volunteers. I was knitting for the third world and got everybody knitting while we were there. the young people's worship leader was there to sing some christian songs that lifted me up in a secular environment. I started learning worship dance i'm so excited about this You can't imagine. I managed one of Bob's teaching and I have shown the DVD to some friends. I went to Tile KILn chapel and bought some plants and my frind had a cream tea. I wanted to go and see Liz abseiling but it was too wet for me to venture there. My prayer time with a friend has been good as we listened to God and prayed specific prayers and saw specific answers as He promised. I went to the mayball with a friend. I have never been to a ball. the meal was scrumptious the people on our table were fun. It was really comical on the dance floor. Everybody looked different smartly dressed. I had a long turquoise dress one of my favourite colours which I had made to measure cheaply in Mauritius for when I use to sing in the opera, with tuquoise glitter in my hair that my hairdresser put in streaks & turquoise nail varnish. I enjoyed the ladies lunch but I had to go early so I missed the dessert but I don't eat dessert anyway, healthy eating. Last saturday I went to hear Sharon Stone in London with some friends. We went to a pub for dinner before the evenng meeting and as we walked in we saw Chelsea score a goal. I was so excited because my nephew in Mauritius suppots Chelsea. I sent him a cap and a flag among other things so JHe went to friend for dinner with his sister to watch the match and celebrate because they have it live there with a time difference. At that meeting I had an apt word for a lady and before we left she gave me a beautiful scarf with I love Jesus and Praise the Lord in gold with other designs on it. I was doubly blessed. this morning i went to the breakfast bar in Melbourne and showing off my scarf. I had a friend come on tuesday with her mum to have aftenoon ta and watch Miss Potter on DVD. It was much fun. Thursday I took friends to Mulberry to a ladies day. It was alovely evening we had a lovely walk round the grounds. This posh young Lady spoke she was an evangelist pastor in a girls boarding school. She was brilliant reminding us that we are created by God and He had chosen us, knew us and that He had a plan and a purpose for our lives. It was a good reminder. Well that's it for now folks.
